About me
Hello lovelies,
my name is Tobias and I've been living in Mallorca for a few years now. I would describe my life here in Spain as very colourful. As an entrepreneur in the art, modelling and entertainment industry, I have gained deep insights into big events, happenings and drama productions. Thanks to my passion for fire dance and the art of movement, a magical world has opened up to me that has kept me going for almost a decade.
Back in the days, I often felt like I couldn't do anything really well. I lacked an understanding of movement, rhythm and music, and I often heard phrases like: "You have two left hands." While others were discovering their talents, I stood by helplessly. This made me feel listless and worthless, which ultimately also affected my health.
A turning point came when I emigrated to Mallorca for the first time in 2014. But even there, I fell back into old patterns after a while. To break out of this spiral, I sold everything and traveled through Spain with a backpack. That was one of the biggest adventure of my life and it changed me completely.
With no money, I ended up in Barcelona after a while. This time on the road led me to street art and eventually to fire dancing. A simple curtain rod I found awakened a fire in me that I had never felt before.
This began a journey that unlocked my hidden Potential and the awareness of my Body.
I trained hard, traveled all over Spain and the Canary Islands with other artists until I finally became a professional fire dancer.
I went back to Germany to attend the birth of my son. During this time I registered a small business and founded an artist collective with 2 other fire dancers. Together we did fire shows for various events in Germany, visited juggling and fire dancer conventions and created a hands-on circus for festivals and markets.
After almost four years, I returned to Mallorca to start my own business as a solo artist. My little family traveled behind and I started doing duo shows and performances with my partner for big events. We also worked as models and gave lessons in body awareness and fire dance. After a couple of years we decided to let the project rest. This time was a real gift.
The experience and self-knowledge that I gained from it enabled me to get closer to my vision and to build up larger projects.
Today I work as an actor, perform at spectacular events, founded a regular fire jam with other artists and create new shows with new partners for the future.
